Easy Travel Insurance has covered travellers since 2010, working with two well-known names in the industry, Zurich Australia and Cover More, to back its policies. The Queensland-based firm insures domestic and international trips, family and senior travellers, backpackers, snow sports, cruising, and corporate or school group travel. Raghwendra Web Services rebuilt the company's website on WordPress, replacing a old custom PHP(developed on version 5.4) platform that had become difficult to maintain.
The Problem
Easy Travel Insurance had worked with RWS once before, around fifteen years earlier, when the company's first website was built on Joomla. That site was later moved onto a custom PHP platform. Updating content on the custom build proved slow, and even small changes needed developer time the client didn't always have spare.
The brief for the new site was straightforward:
- A platform the client's own team could update without calling a developer
- Fast, clear pages on every device
- Content that was easy for visitors to read and act on
- A structure built to support SEO growth over time
- A cleaner look with better use of the page
Our Solution
Because RWS had built the client's original site, the relationship came with history rather than a cold introduction. When the custom PHP platform stopped serving the business well, the client returned with a clear ask: move to WordPress and make the site genuinely easy to manage. Before any design work began, RWS walked through page structure, navigation, homepage layout, the inner pages the business needed, and the overall content plan with the client. A full homepage layout was designed in Figma first, shared for review, and refined until the client signed off. Only then did the build start, using WordPress with Elementor as the page-building tool.
What We Built
Homepage and lead capture
The homepage carries a "Get a Quote" form near the top, so a visitor can start an enquiry without scrolling. Calls to action throughout the page point toward that same form, keeping the path to an enquiry short.
Service and destination pages
RWS built dedicated pages for each cover type the business sells: domestic, international, annual multi-trip, inbound, and group cover. Alongside these, destination pages cover countries including Japan, the USA, the UK, parts of Europe, and Bali, giving travellers a page that speaks directly to their trip.
Support and FAQs
A three-tab FAQ page, built in Elementor, groups common questions so visitors can find answers without searching through a single long page. A contact form sits nearby for anyone who needs more than the FAQ covers.
Blog Setup & SEO Foundation
The website is ready for future content updates with a dedicated blog section. We completed the technical setup as part of the build, including the XML sitemap, robots.txt file, clean page URLs, and a consistent heading structure across the site.
Contact & Support
Beyond the standard contact form, a live chat script was added to the site, giving visitors a way to get help while they're still on the page rather than waiting on an email reply.
Migration without losing search visibility
Because the old site already had search rankings worth protecting, RWS kept the existing SEO URLs and meta details unchanged during the move to WordPress, rather than treating the rebuild as a clean slate.
Responsive Website Design
Finally, we tested every page on mobile, tablet, and desktop. Each page follows the best rules of responsive website design. Therefore no matter what device a visitor uses — the website works well.
