Those who love open source can reunite through this program and share, learn, exchange ideas with their peers! This year, the program is being mentored by Puneet Kala, Yves Hoppe, Sandra Decoux and Tobias Zulauf.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Puneet sounded really excited about this tie up. He said that Google selecting Joomla for the GSoC 2019 is an amazing news. \u2018We are on the edge of Joomla 4 release and the projects we have this year are going to focus on this area,\u2019 he said.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

In the year 2015, Joomla’s application to collaborate with GSoC as a mentor was rejected. Since then Joomla worked on their lacks and for 4 consecutive years they were the mentors of GSoC. While this collaboration has opened the door for meeting fresh talents for Joomla ensuring they make their software more advanced, it also proved that Joomla have been moving at the right direction.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
